Description: This course provides the basic foundation for safe operation of a mobile water supply apparatus through examination of hydraulics, folding tank operations, dumping operations, pumping operations, emergency vehicle operation, inspection procedures, and driver evaluation. Topics of discussion will include placement, maneuvering, deployment of apparatus, dump valve operation, pre and post inspection techniques, drafting, pumping, and maintenance. Successful completion of this program is dependent upon practical skills demonstration.
