Minimum Age: 18 years of age

Lecture will be online via zoom and practical at Woodlawn Fire

Prerequisites:
* Current Motor Vehicle License (State or Government Issued)

Required Text:
* Emergency Vehicle Driving Training (Participant Manual), 2016 Edition, VFIS

Required Equipment:
* Apparatus that meets the NFPA or other industry standard for that type of vehicle. You will be responsible for brining your own apparatus to qualify on. 

Course Description: A large number of emergency service personnel and civilians are injured and killed each year as a result of 
inappropriately driven emergency vehicles. Participants in this course will have the opportunity to gain and/or verify a broad range of competencies associated with the emergency vehicle driving. These competencies include basic understanding of emergency vehicle operations as well as the skills necessary for practical and safe application of driving on a competency course.
