FSC-0188 - Fire and Emergency Services Instructor II (NFPA 1041)
Minimum Age: 18 years of age
Prerequisites:
* Fire Service Instructor 1 (NFPA 1041) Professional Certification
Required Text:
* Fire and Emergency Services Instructor, Ninth Edition, International Fire Service Training Association; Oklahoma.
Required Equipment:
* Computer with audio/video capability and internet access (for the Course)
* Presentation must be completed live with an approved evaluator
Course Description: This program will provide the student with knowledge and skills needed to develop organized and effective training programs. The student will develop lesson plans, presentations, and evaluation and assessment tools for a high-hazard training course, as part of this program. This program addresses methodology of teaching and learning, risk management principles and evaluation and testing strategies. This course is tested to NFPA 1041 Standard, to the Fire Service Instructor 2 Level through the Pro Board. Successful completion of the program requires proficiency demonstration in written/delivery practical skills and a multiple-choice examination.
Professional Certification Testing:
* All Professional Certification Written Examinations must be proctored at an approved location with an approved proctor. Approved locations outside of Pennsylvania are limited and may require additional fees.
* All Professional Certification Demonstration Skills must be done live face to face with an approved evaluator at an approved location. Testing dates and times will be available in the section schedule and are unable to be done online.

All weekdays will be conducted via zoom and all weekends will be in person at Lower Milford Fire Company
