Fire Fighter I Skills Enhancement (FFCP)

Minimum Age: 18 years of age

Prerequisites:
• Essentials of Firefighting (EBM) or Interior Firefighting: Live Fire Exercise (ELIF) or Interior Firefighting: No Live Fire Exercise (ELIF) or Bucks Basic Fire Academy (BBFA) or Fire Fighter 1 Professional Certification

Resource Materials Needed:
• Essentials of Fire Fighting, Current Edition, IFSTA

Required Equipment:
• Notebook, pen or pencil
• Computer with audio/video capability with Internet Access (If applicable)
• Turn out gear/SCBA

Course Descriptions: This course is designed to refresh and reinforce the basic knowledge and skills required by any fire fighter who wishes to work efficiently, effectively and safely as part of a team on the fire ground. Upon completion of this course, students will be better prepared to participate successfully in the NFPA Fire Fighter I Certification Testing Process and to perform more effectively as a fire fighter on the fire grounds.
