Fireground Support (ELFS) - The new 2026 module 1 Essentials Series. This program combines the previous versions of ELIS and ELFG into one program. This entry level course is designed to prepare the student for the new Fireground Support certification by introduce new firefighters to basic and complex information including an overview of the fire service, fire service history, it’s mission and organization, firefighter safety, personal protective equipment, tools, communications, work areas, backing apparatus, fire hose, water supply, hose operations, ropes and knots, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), building construction, and scene lighting.
Cost: $280 / pp per proboard certification. For non-certification cost is $30/pp.

Prerequisites: Minimum age: 14 years old at start of course, NIMS 100, 700, CPR / First Aid (Provided to you as part of the class at an additional cost)
Requirements: Turn-Out Gear (TOG), not needed the 1st night of class, Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills and Hazardous Materials Response, 5th Edition.
