MGT453 REP Post-Plume Plan Review Course (RPPP) This is a 16 hour (2 day) course

Overview This course provides learners foundational knowledge on the preparation for, and conduct of, Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) exercise control, and presents an opportunity for participants to begin building controller skills. To prepare participants to control the flow (play) of scenario events to ensure an exercise is conducted in accordance with the exercise objectives and extent of play.

Initial Damage Assessment and Reporting

This course is about 2 hours in length

This instruction is designed to familiarize County and Municipal Coordinators and Staffs with the procedures involved in Damage Assessment within their Jurisdictions. The instruction also describes the reporting mechanisms used to provide Emergency Management personnel at Municipal, County and Commonwealth Levels with situational awareness of the scope and severity of Damages incurred by a Natural or Man-Made Disaster.

E/L/G 0400 ADVANCED INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM FOR COMPLEX INCIDENTS, ICS 400

This course builds on the ICS 100, ICS 200, and ICS 300 courses. However, it was designed to provide overall incident management skills rather than tactical expertise. Additional courses are available on developing and implementing incident tactics.

Fire and EMS Administrative Officer Course “ACADEMY ON THE ROAD” (AOTR) Program The Pennsylvania State Fire Academy is offering this 24-hour Fire and EMS Administrative Officer Course to educate those in administrative leadership positions within volunteer and combination Fire/EMS organizations. The course outlines modern management techniques, including managing the business of the organization, board management and governance, managing human resources, risk management, and working with the public and elected officials.

The Safety Officer’s responsibilities fall into two clear cut categories: those associated with responding at the incident scene, and those associated with managing the day-to-day affairs of the department. The Incident Safety Officer (ISO) course is focused on the incident and the role the Safety Officer plays as part of the Command Staff.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The NASRO Basic School Resource Officer Course is a forty-hour (40) block of instruction
designed for law enforcement officers and school safety professionals working in an educational
environment and with school administrators. The course provides tools for officers to build
positive relationships with both students and staff.
The course is also beneficial for educational professionals dedicated to providing a safe learning
environment and provides a more in-depth understanding of the role and functions of an SRO.
