Please be advised that the upcoming PRE100 Active Shooter Workshop will now be held at the Lehigh Carbon Community College - CSC 203.
This program will provide the student with knowledge and skills needed to present training programs in an organized and professional manner within the emergency services spectrum. Emphasis is placed on professional delivery, organization, and methodologies of teaching. Students will develop a lesson plans, curriculum presentations, and evaluation tools. This program follows the standards as defined in NFPA 1041 – Fire & Emergency Services Instructor 1 and the PA State Fire Academy – Office of the Fire Commissioner requirements.

Prerequisites: Age 18 and up, Fire Service Instructor I Certification
Gear: Laptop Computer Recommended
Textbook: IFSTA Fire & Emergency Services Instructor 8th Edition
Ice Rescue and Emergency Response
(16 hours) (TEMD 15-32937)
Classroom and practical hands-on training prepares rescue personnel to evaluate and respond to ice related emergencies. Students learn how to identify ice conditions, use ice rescue equipment and practice shore, boat, and direct contact ice rescue techniques. Course meets NFPA 1670 technician level guidelines.
