This course is designed to provide responders concepts of risk management, best practices, power control, into to ASME A17.4 “Guide for Emergency Personnel”, Fire Service Phase I & II controls and use, opening hoist way and car doors, to include restrictors if present. Inspection run, top-exit drill, and poling techniques will be shown if the site is safe and conducive to this training.

This interactive, instructor-facilitated program employs case studies and research-based information designed to enhance medical preparedness for and response to blast effects. Breakout sessions address considerations and concerns specific both to medical responders and emergency planners.
FLASHOVER SURVIVAL TRAINING
PURPOSE
Flashover training provides members a safe environment to witness the different stages of fire behavior; Incipient, Free Burning and Decay Stages. Early signs of Flashover, such as, rollover will also be created.
Members will be able to identify signs and signals leading to eminent Flashover and perform cooling measures to increase their survivability.
